SHORELINE ROOTZ is a NINE piece Reggae/Rock group, founded in San Diego, California in 2009. With crisp horn lines, female backing vocals, hypnotic bass-lines and driving keyboard and percussive syncopation, this group of “Roots Enthusiasts” breathes new life into an archival style that is primitively irresistible!

Influenced greatly by the Jamaican Reggae artists of the 1970’s and 80’s, lead vocalist & prolific songwriter, Ryan Thorpes brings the message of Peace and Personal Empowerment through the microphone with his unique rasp and smokey stylings. “A breath of fresh air” is an appropriate way to describe the music from this collection of passionate, creative & determined musicians.

SHORELINE ROOTZ breaks down the barriers of conformity with delicious fusions and offerings of contagious consciousness.
